About

I’m Charley King, an ADHD life coach who was diagnosed later in life. I’ve learned through my own experience and self-study, and I’m passionate about helping others, even though I’m not formally certified.
I was diagnosed with ADHD as an adult at the age of 31, after years of struggling with focus, time management, asking "why am I the way I am" or "Why can't I just be normal" and facing constant overwhelm.Learning to work with my brain, not against it, changed everything although I am still figuring things out as new challenges of life arises.
ADHD coaching
As of January 2026, I made the decision to start my own business part-time as a ADHD coach alongside my full time role as a Level 3 Child Care Early Years Educator.I chose this part time as I am shocked at how little support people who are diagnosed with ADHD get and how hard it is for them to exist and live in a world that simply wasn’t built for them, with a lack of some sort of system to help.
So I did some digging into the current gaps between ADHD people, ADHD diagnosis support by NHS and private providers and then decided on how and what I could do to bridge some of these gaps and make the world a little more easier to cope with for others.I aim to support adults who want practical, gentle, and strengths-based help with everyday challenges like focus, organisation, time management, and follow-through.
Though ADHD coaching is not a regulated profession in the UK, I am committed to working ethically, transparently, and within a clear coaching scope.
I am not a member of any coaching organisations, federations or institutions but I do try my absolute best to follow both the International Coaching Federation (ICF) code of Ethics and Association for Coaching® (AC) Global Code of ethics to ensure I am giving you the correct, most helpful and supportive services I can.
It’s important to note that I do not diagnose ADHD or provide medical or therapeutic services.
